Flin Flon Station Museum
Flin Flon Station Museum has been located at Flin Flon Tourist Park in CN building. It goes on to exhibit items relating to pioneering period and also impressive materials and tools belonging to Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company. Exhibits have been well-done. Moreover, they go on to provide an amazing overview regarding Flin Flon to the visitors who are sheerly interested in unique history of the town. The other name for this museum is ‘Flin Flon Heritage Museum’. It remains open only during the summer season. Exclusive tours can also be arranged for.
Timings: This museum remains open from 15th of May to 15th September between 1000 hrs and 1800 hrs every single day.
Flonatin Statue
Flonatin Statue had been designed by Al Capp of L’Abner fame. The name ‘Flin Flon’ and statue’s history have been ‘one and the same’. Early prospectors went on toadopt Josiah Flintabbatey Flonatin in the form of their hero in the year 1915. It was then shortened to Flin Flon.
