 Bowhill House is one of the five star attractions of Selkirk. It is about 5kms far from west Selkirk. Bowhill is a territorial division that exhibits some outstanding collections of paintings, including beautiful landscapes by Ruisdael and Claude Caroline. The family portraits designed by Reynolds and Gainsborough adds colour to the drawing room of the house. The entrance hall is decorated with the works and portraits of Seven Van Dyck by David Wikie, Canaletto, Guardi, Samuel Cooper and Hans Holbein. St. Mary’s Loch Tibbie Shiels Inn is one of the famous four star attractions of Selkirk. Lake Winnipeg is the famous fresh water lake of Selkirk. It is ranked as the eleventh largest among its type on the earth. It is a well-known summer resort region. The lukewarm water temperatures and sandy beaches are the main features of the lake. Harmony garden is a serene walled garden of Selkirk. The garden comprises of lawns, fruit and vegetable areas, herbaceous and mixed borders.
