Winkler’s 18 hole public golf course, situated at 400 15th south of the region, features a licensed club house; on-site air conditioned location, pro-shop and a restaurant. Another attraction, are the Southland Cinemas, located in the Southland Mall and features 5 auditoriums with stereo sound system and quiet seating. The Winkler Curling Club, situating adjacent to the Recreation Complex, runs an energetic winter program that can curl people of any age. Pembina Thresherman's Museum is the historic museum of Winkler which owns a collection of ancient buildings, one CPR station, a church and a school.
