The tagline of the Manitoba Museum goes like this: ‘Encouraging Discovery’; and it deserves that. Its collections go on to reflect Manitoba’s as well as the other regions’ heritage. This museum is best known for Urban Gallery; that performs the task of recreation of Winnipeg of 1920s; along with full-size replica of ‘Nonsuch’. This was the ship whose voyage (1668) led to founding of Hudson’s Bay Company.
