Forie Brayonne is the famous festival of Edmundston city. It is the one among the well-known French themed carnivals held at Canada. Le Jardin de la Republic and Fort du Petit-Sault are the famous tourist attractions of the city. The Fort du Petit-Sault was the British military fort of mid 1800s. Today it is an 18 hole golf of the city with several stores, restaurants, a hotel and boutiques. One can also see a convention centre and Madawaska Historic Museum and The automobile Museum, the appealing local attractions of the city. Fortin du P’ tit Sault Blockhouse is a famous historic place of the city. It was initially built as a defence structure. In 1855 it was destroyed by lightning and was rebuilt in 2000. It is open to tourists from June to September. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception built in 1927 is the well-known worship site of the city. The Cathedral falls under the Roman Catholic Diocese. The architecture of the Cathedral is a blend of Gothic and Romanesque styles.
