Located in Bouctouche, 40 minutes drive from Moncton, le Pays de la Sagouine is an island created by Antonione Maillet a well known Acadian novelist. The village in located in the natural surroundings where and a must visit due to the colorful atmosphere which talks of the Acadian culture. One feature of the place is the daily performance of music, theatre, dance and comedy.
