The Ryan Premises is located in the heart of the town and is the centre of the fishing industry which is a flourishing business in Newfoundland's fishing communities. The complex also includes a house for the manager, retail shop, fish store and a salt store. It is an influential site with the area's rich history and economically impacts the town.
