Tourist Guide Cape Onion
The town of Cape Onion is located in the eastern province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The town is surrounded in the east by Griguet, in the west by Cook Harbor, northern side by Henley Harbor and southern side by Great Brehat. The town has harbors surrounding it which fairly indicates that fishing is the major area of occupation for the people here. According to the recent population census taken in 2008, the town was recorded to have a population around 2430 which indicates that it is a scarcely populated region. According to the Canadian census the town is considered to have a total area of around 15 square kilometers. The religion followed here is uniquely Christianity because maximum portion of the population have emerged from the English Province and then started to reside here. The climate here is fairly cold in most part of the year due to its location near the poles. It hardly receives sunshine in 6 months of the year so it is not a place for agriculture.
