Tourist Guide Conception Bay South
Conception Bay South is a well known town in the massive landscape of Newfoundland and Labrador in the state of Canada. The town was formed in the year 1973 through the coming together of nine different communities. It is situated on the south facing shore of the Conception Bay that is based on the Avalon Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland. It is also near to the provincial capital, St. John. This town is benefited from the waters of the Long Pond that passes through its west. This town excels in business that originates by its excessive usage of the water resources available here. The people here are simple and are mainly engrossed in tourism related industries or are scattered in the St. Johns or Mount Pearl region in search of work. The climate here is a bit humid but is always extreme. The summers are very hot and the winters are also too chilly. There are extensive fishing industries near the Manuels River.
