Tourist Guide Forteau
Forteau is a small but an important settlement in the Newfoundland and Labrador region. Its location is very close to Route 501 in the Labrador area. Forteau is located on the plains surrounded by the sea. So this place is full of green fields, ports and harbours. The location of this settlement has been favourable from the economic point of view. It is situated in between the cities of L’Anse-au-Clair and L'Anse-au-Loup. This place houses a very scarce population of 448 people. As the city is a Mediterranean type of city, it enjoys a tropical climate where the weather is comfortable. The winters are very cool and the summers are not so hot. This city is known for its agricultural produce and the diverse biological plants available. Fishing is carried out extensively in these parts and thus many industries related to fishing have prospered here. The area measured by this place is also very small and the people here are mostly Christians.
