The local transport available in the Yellowknife is the called the Yellowknife Transit System. It operates along the three regular routes and two express routes. The transit services are not available on Saturdays and Sundays. Sir John Franklin High School is the transfer station from where it is possible to switch between route 1 and 2 and vice versa.
