A very interesting visit the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre is located in the Yellowknife. The centre is known for its large mineral collection as well as its archeological research which attracts many archeological experts from around the world. The museum also details the Dene Indian Cultures and the influence of the fur trade on the culture since the 18th century.
