Yellowknife: Streets, Squares and Neighbourhoods

The place is termed so because it was the original settlement area in the Yellowknife region.  The Old Town is located near the North side of the Great Slave Lake which is world’s ninth largest lake. The town developed besides the Dene community of N’dilo. The residents of the Old Town live neighborhoods which are known by their old names like Peace River Flats etc.
