Nova Scotia has a lot to offer to its visitors. The Bluenose II is the replica of the famous schooner and Canada’s tribute to the great age of sailing, making for an interesting site to visit. For some science interspersed with fun, visit the Halifax Planetarium. The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia located in the states of Halifax, Yarmouth and Marshalltown, each offers a vivid collection of art. Visitors to Nova Scotia have a number of historic sites that they can visit. The Halifax Citadel to the Fort Anne and Fort Edward in Annapolis Valley, all of them add to the historical heritage of the province. The Old Town Lunenburg Heritage Site provides an ideal description of the perfect town planning of the British Colonies, transporting its visitors to the British colonial era. Festivals and events are celebrated aplenty in the region. The Atlantic Jazz Festival, Celtic Colours International Festival, the Atlantic Film Festival and the Truro International Tulip Festival are some of the many festivals of Nova Scotia.
