The Evergreen House is one of the best examples of mid Victorian residence. The museum is decorated with the antiques and other artifacts donated by local residents. One of the finest views of the Halifax harbor can be seen from this place. The house was built by Alexander James, A judge by profession in 1867. It also served as the residence of Dr. Helen Creighton.
