Early autumn and summer time is the best time to visit Nova Scotia. The climate is moderate by the adjacent Atlantic Ocean. Nova Scotia benefits from a mix of warm southern breezes and cool northern currents. Due to this, the province is spared the thermal extremes with typical summer and winter season. The high tourist season is from July to early September.
