In Central Nova Scotia, Canada there exists a town called as Truro. It is situtated at the eastern end of Cobequid Bay, close to the Salmon River’s mouth on the South side of the floodplain of the River. This town is a shire town of Colchester County. The city is situated at the junction of the Canadian National Railway that runs between Montreal and Halifax and the Central Nova Scotia Railway that runs between Sydney and Truro. Hence, it is also called as the Hub of Nova Scotia. Just towards the North of Truro there is a crucial highway interchange. Highway 102 ends at Highway 104 and this is a section of the Trans-Canada Highway. The town has the intersection of Trunk 2 and 4.
As per the 2006 census, the population of this town was 11,765.
The average high temperature varies from almost 29 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The average low temperature changes from about 14 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
