Best known for its natural beauty, Nunavut is ideal for the adventurous. Baffin Island and the Sirmilik National Park offer some of the most remote and isolated hikes with river crossings and glacier travel. Visit the Auyuittuq National Park for cross-country skiing, especially in the Akshayuk Pass. Baker Lake is famous for Arctic paddling adventures.
