The village is very famous for its art work in printing and carvings. The art gallery in the village puts on display the various artistic paintings, wood carvings, printing works etc done by many artists. The gallery then auctions these art works and the person whose work gets sold out gets the amount in the auction. A lot of people visit the gallery every year to experience the ancient tradition of art of the village.
