The house of Captain Joseph Brant, Canada’s most colorful hero was rebuilt in the form of museum. The captain in 1798 received 3,450 acres by King George III as a gift for his services during to the King. The museum was formally opened in June 1942 and today houses around 10,000 artifacts. Historic costumes, textiles, historic objects portraying the life of the city are on display.
