The flora and fauna typical to the Carolinian forest and Prairie area are commonly found in the park. The par was established in 1972 by The Ministry of Natural Resources and was opened for public view in 1975.  In a year the Bronte Creek Park is visited by more than 250,000 people and is very popular amongst tourists. It also has a campground and recreational facilities.
