Guelph can be described as a city located in Ontario’s southwestern region, Canada.

Better known in the form of ‘The Royal City’, this place lies at an approximate distance of 28 Km on the eastern side of Kitchener-Waterloo; and at the distance of 100 Km on the western side of ‘downtown Toronto’; that too, at intersection of ‘Highway 7’ and ‘Highway 6’. It’s seat of ‘Wellington County’; but, at the same time, has an exclusive municipality.

People staying in Guelph are known by the name ‘Guelphites’. This city is known for having numerous sister cities; that have been selected on the basis of political, cultural, and economic criteria. Owing to clean environment, low rates of crime, and high ‘standard of living’ in general have helped Guelph in being rated as one amongst the cities worth staying.  
Guelph has moderate climate; in winters as well as summers.

Population of Guelph has been estimated to be 200425.

The main streets change names as they proceed through the city which can be confusing. Also, there are two rivers that join up in the middle of the city and there are only a few ways to get across them. In the centre of the city you can park for free for two hours on the street daily. The two main attractions are the University of Guelph in the south end and the Catholic Cathedral on a hill in the middle of town. There are many cultural events taking place all year long.
