The area is acknowledged by nature preservationists due its beauty and charm. The park was established in 1893 and spans over an area 7,630 square kilometer. The park has 8 campgrounds with over 1200 campsite. Fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, canoeing are some of the activities which could be enjoyed by visitors here.
