The city of Mississauga got incorporated in the year 1974. This place is trying hard to have created distinctive image of itself with respect to the world since the last few years. In the year 2006, an ‘architectural design competition’ was held on the international level for a 56-storey condominium tower which has been built with the intention of being a ‘landmark’ with respect to city named ‘Absolute World’.
Mississauga is proud of being 100%25 debt-free. As such, it hasn’t borrowed penny since the year 1978. There are 5 main highways which pass through Mississauga. Due to this, it goes on to offer access to main destinations within US and Canada. Plus, the busiest airport of Canada, i.e. Toronto Pearson International Airport lies over here.
As far as climate is concerned, Mississauga looks foggy along lakeshore as well as in ‘Credit river Valley; especially during falls.
Population as per 2006 census was 668549.
