Overlooking the majestic Niagara Falls, the 520-foot-tall Skylon Tower offers some of the most awe-inspiring views in all of Ontario. Opened in 1965, Skylon has provided millions of visitors with what is perhaps the best vantage point of Niagara’s two biggest waterfalls, Horseshoe and American.
Skylon visitors can make their way from street level to the top of the tower in under a minute in one of the tower’s bright yellow elevators. At the summit, there’s a 360-degree observation deck with indoor and outdoor sections and two restaurants, the Revolving Dining Room and the Summit Suite Buffet Dining Room.
There’s plenty of fun to be had at the tower’s base, as well. Before heading up or when back on the ground, people of all ages will certainly want to check out the 3D/4D Legends of Niagara Falls movie, the Family Fun Center, the Skylon gift shop and its additional fast-food dining options.
