Geared towards those who marvel at the world of the weird, Niagara Falls’ Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum is one of the city’s must-see attractions. At Ripley’s, visitors can take an interactive stroll through some of the world’s most unique showcases.
A mainstay of Niagara’s Clifton Hill district since the 1960s, the Ripley’s museum sports authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals in its more than 700 exhibits. Ripley’s also features an extensive collection of hilarious headstone engravings and highlights those who, whether accidentally or on purpose, took a trip over Niagara Falls.
In addition to the main exhibits, Ripley’s also includes the Wax Zone, where visitors can craft their own wax collectibles, and the 4D Moving Theater motion-simulator ride. Ripley’s own wax figure museum, Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks, is located just up the street.
Paying homage to cinema classic King Kong, the Niagara Ripley’s is shaped like a fallen-over Empire State Building with the famous gorilla standing atop it.
