The Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours service was established in 1992. This tour introduced the futuristic looking Jet Dome in 2000. The Jet Dome can be reserved for groups of 15 people or more and depart from the Niagara on the lake. There are hydraulic doors to the jet dome and it can be opened from both sides of the boat during the tour. Through this jet dome, one can get to view the Niagara Gorge.
