Orangeville is located in the south central part of Ontario and forms the county seat for Dufferin County.
The Europeans were the first inhabitants to this town. Earlier the town was used for native hunting. The first person to buy this land was Ezekiel Robinson in the year 1820. The place got its name from Orange Lawrence who was a business man. Later on the land was purchased by Orangeville from Robert Hughson.
It is one of the commercial hubs for Dufferin County. This city draws revenue from retail stores and various automobile manufacturing plants with computer outsourcing and plastic sheets.
The climate of this place is moderate and can be visited at any time of the year.
The population of this pace comes to 1,729 according to 2006 census. This city should be visited once in a life time.
