Orillia is located is Simcoe County in the south central of Ontario in Canada.
The village of Orillia came into existence in the year 1867 and as a town in the year 1875 and city in the year 1969.In the early 1600s the French explorer Samuel de Champlain came to this place and gave the name Orillia. Since Orillia is situated in between two lakes Lake Simcoe and Lake Couching, and the French meaning of Orillia is the “shore of either a lake or river”
