The OCTranspo provides an excellent public transit system that includes large transit way routes. The visitors should remember that exact change is needed for boarding buses stations.
The taxis also offer an alternative option for traveling in Ottawa. The meter starts its ratings at $2.50. A trip in downtown Ottawa would cost around $7 to $10. The fee schedules and official rates are displayed in the cab, along with the driver’s photo identity and license. The city of Ottawa is also served by VIA Rail, airlines, Transit services and offers a large network of paved multi-use pathways.
