The Parliament Hill is a Gothic revival suite of buildings, with the parliament buildings serving as the home of the Parliament of Canada. There are also many architectural elements of national symbolic significance of these historic buildings. The Parliament Hill specifically attracts around 3 million tourists per year. This was originally the site of a military base in the 18th and early 19th century.
