Ottawa merges the French and the American, in its style and architecture. On a sunny day head to Parliament Hill were the Canadian parliamentary building has its place.
It's a colossal and stone heavy building called Centre Bloc built at the beginning of the last century. Take a tour inside and you'll be able to admire the gold decorated Senate chamber, the gothic styled Hall of Honour, so long one feels lost in it.
The Ottawa City Hall is another monument that deserves some time, made of a plethora of cobbled stones, it resembles the 17th century english churches. Its interiors are dark and the lack of light give it a mistery atmosphere woth exploring.
