Peterborough is a city and is located on the Otonabee River in the central eastern part of Ontario in Canada.
This city is also known as the gateway to the cottage county of Kawarthas which is a large recreational town of this province. The city was named after a Canadian politician, Peter Robinson in respect of his honor.
The city has a beautiful landscape with recreational activities for its visitors as well as for the residents with higher rate of commercialization, and agricultural base.
