St Lawrence Market is one of the two main markets in Toronto, with the other market being, the Kensington Market. St Lawrence Market includes two buildings, on the west side of the Front St. East and Jarvis St. and each of this building has different functions. St Lawrence Market North is to the Front St hosting weekly farmer’s market and antique markets. St Lawrence Market South on the other hand is to the south of Front St. hosting restaurants and many places to shop for food.

St. Lawrence Market is a popular market and one of the two major markets in Toronto. The other market is known as the Kensington Market. St. Lawrence Market includes two sub markets, one to the north and another to the south. Towards the north side, one can get to see weekly farmer’s market and antique markets, whereas to the south side there are restaurants, many places to shop for food like bakeries and delis and even meat shops and the St. Lawrence Market Gallery. This market is entirely owned by the Toronto city and there are many special programs held here like the Farmers Market, Occasional use events, Market Carts and such special events.
