Waterloo can be described as a city located in Ontario, Canada. Moreover, it’s the smallest amongst the 3 cities in Regional Municipality of Waterloo. Plus, it’s adjacent to Kitchener.
Waterloo and Kitchener are usually mentioned as ‘twin cities’; in spite of they having separate ‘city governments’. Numerous attempts have been made with regards to amalgamation of these 2 cities. However, success has not been attained on this front.
Grand River happens to flow along this city’s eastern side, towards the south. Waterloo Moraine, towards the city’s western end goes on to provide drinking water to around 300000 people. Most of the locals in Waterloo appear to be of ‘ethnic German’ descent. There also happens to be strong presence on the part of Mennonite population. The colleges and universities execute the task of attracting loads of individuals from the other places within Canada as well as from the other parts of the world.
