Montague is a Canadian city which is situated in the Region Island of Prince Edward. The city lies on river of Montague. The city of Montague covers a total area of about 3.04 km. In 2006 the city had a population of 1,995. It is the largest populated city in the state Island of Prince Edward. Montague has an exclusive combination of fertile farmland, rolling hills, residential villages and historic mills. The city of Montague provides a lot of opportunities for tourists like canoeing, skiing, hiking, camping and biking.
Montague city provides several facilities for its residents such as the Memorial Hospital of Kings County, club of Montague Curling, Iceland Arena as well as intermediate, elementary and high schools. Previously at the north end side, the city had older marketable buildings, homes which are now reconstructed with new styles of building along with the Main Street.
