Montague: Attractions and more...
Montague Days is an annual festival where the town celebrates its birthday. The festival comes once in year and the people enjoy this festival with a number of activities such as buskers, contest of Miss Montague and pet parade, midway. At the tourism point the visitors can visit the historic sites of the city such as its gardens, museums and Gulf Museum. Garden of the Gulf Museum is a brick and stone structure, built in 1887. Kensington Veterans Memorial Military Museum is another historical museum to visit.
In the southern region the city has developed with the latest recreational centre which had been in the complex of the Country Aquatic and old Town. The recreational centre is being constructed with town offices, meeting rooms, a hockey rink, library and a track for indoor walking. Victoria Playhouse is the longest running theater on the Prince Edward Island.
