In Quebec, Canada, the Monteregie region has a town called as Boucherville. It lies on the Southern shore of the Saint Lawrence River and is a suburb of Montreal. This town is a section of the Montreal Metropolitan Community regional government. The town is bounded by Varennes towards the North, Saint-Hubert towards the South, Sainte-Julie towards the East, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville towards the Southeast, Saint Lawrence River towards the West and Vieux-Longueuil towards the Southwest. In this society, about 94 percent of the population is Roman Catholic. Less than 2 percent of the gross population is non-white. French is spoken as the first language by approximately 94 percent of the residents.

July is the warmest month with temperatures ranging from 16 to 26 degrees Fahrenheit. January is the coldest month with temperatures varying from -6 to -14 degrees Fahrenheit.

As per the 2006 census, the population of Boucherville was 39,062.
