In Quebec, Canada, the Capitale-Nationale Region consists of a small town known as Chateau-Richer. This is the seat for the Cote-de-Beaupre Regional county municipality. It is situated on the Northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River towards the east of Quebec City. Chateau-Richer extends for many miles along the Route 138. This route was in the past referred to as King’s Road or Chemin Royal. Later, it was renamed as Avenue Royale. Interestingly, this was amongst the first roads to be constructed in North America. In 1678, the first rural parish in New France was created in this place. Several oldest families in Quebec lived here. At present also, a large number of people in this place can be associated with those pioneering people.
The warmest month in Chateau-Richer is July with temperature ranging from 14 to 24 degrees Celsius. The coldest month is January with temperature varying from -8 to -17 degrees Celsius.
