Formed billion of years ago, Saguenay Fjord is a deep cravass formed into the land by the retreat of the glaciers. The place became a passage for the Sagueny River. The salt water mixes with fresh water at the mouth of the fjord. Due to this the marine life of the place is very unique. The place consists of around 60 species of fish and is home to the renowned Beluga Whale.
