Cowansville: Attractions and more...
Begin your sightseeing in Cowansville by taking a walk along the 5.5 km Heritage Walk, where you can learn more about the rich heritage of the town by reading the 23 plagues that line it.
Delightful comedies await you at the Theatre des Tournesols in the months of July and August. The Emmanuel Church also hosts musicals and theatrical performances by local artists.
Cowansville has some beautiful architecture that deserves being photographed. The neoclassical Court House is a major stop on any historical tour of the town, while the historic Nesbitt Residence is another Second Empire-styled home of the same century.
One of the major attractions here is the nineteenth century Bruck House, which also houses the Bruck Lee Collection. This collection includes beautiful canvases, paintings and other visual arts put together by the Cowansville Art Centre, which even merited a visit by a Prime Minister of Canada.
