La Pointe a David has been reputed for nearly the previous fifty years as a tourist resort. At present, this place had developed into a vacation retreat. It has become not only a place suitable for fishermen but also for families, outdoor enthusiasts and water sports enthusiasts. During summer, one can practice canoeing, cycling, kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing, paddle boating, boating, swimming and fishing.
