Tourist Guide Laval
Laval can be described as a city located in Quebec’s south-western part in Canada.
Laval stands between Riviere des Prairies (opposite Montreal) and Riviere des Mille Iles (opposite North Shore). Laval goes on to occupy the entire portion of Ile Jesus and Laval Islands.
Laval has developed with the passage of time; with majority of urban area under central region as well as along west and south river banks. This city is bounded on the southern side by Montreal; all across Riviere des Prairies; on northern side by ‘MRC des Moulins’; by MRC de Theresede-Blainville on the eastern side; and by MRC de Deux-Montagnes on the western side across Riviere des Mille lles.
As such, laval has 4 industrial parks. They include ‘Industrial Park Center’, Industrial Park East, Laval Science and High technology park, and Highway 25 Industrial Park.
The population as per 2006 census was 368709.
