Montreal-Mirabel International Airport, commonly known as Mirabel, was opened on 4th October 1975.
Located in downtown Mirabel, the airport is recognized for its specialized services and excellent rates for cargo activities.
It is the second largest airport in the world in terms of area, covering 6,556 hectares of land and includes both the airport as well as a development zone.
It is the first and only terminal that was designed to handle six million passengers per year.
The airport was beautifully designed to win the creator's award, the Expo 67, for Mirabel’s pavilion design. It is close to areas famous attractions like the Museum District, Biodome, Old Montreal Ghost Trail, Botanical Garden, the Clock Tower and much more.
The Montreal airport has an easy access to many hotels nearby like the Comfort Inn St. Jerome, Quality Suites Laval, Radisson Hotel Laval and the Econo lodge Laval
