Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is located approximately twelve miles to the west of downtown Montreal.
Formerly known as the Montreal-Dorval International Airport, it is the largest hub in eastern Canada for international flights.
Montreal's only passenger airport serves over 11 million passengers every year after the slow closure of the Mirabel Airport. Smoking is not allowed both in and out of the airport premises.
