The Reseau de transport de la Capitale looks after the public transit in the city. The RTC as it is known by, operates a number of buses and implements articulated buses. It also studies the return of the tram system for helping ease the overcrowding on some of its busiest lines and attract new commuters to commute through the public transit. There is also rail transport service which is operated by the VIA Rail at the Gare du Palais station.
