The Quartier du Petit Champlain is a neighborhood of Quebec City. It is also the oldest commercial district in North America and is located at the foot of the cliffs. The city is centered along the narrow cobblestone Rue du Petit Champlain and has art galleries, restaurants and boutiques. This neighborhood is also witness to many past natural calamities.
