When to visit
In Quebec, the high season is late May through early September, with February weekends being crowded due to the big winter carnival. What’s more, the time from Christmas to New Year is also busy. Hotels at this time are likely to be full, with highest rate charges. The low season, on the other hand, is during the month of March and April, when there are fewer events and winter sports are around the corner. This is a four season vacation spot, which is busiest from the month of June to early October. The month of July is the month when the annual summer festival takes place with music (jazz, Finnish, African and world music) are being performed on the streets and in indoor venues as well.
