The city of Assiniboia lies in the south-central part of Saskatchewan, Canada. Lying in the latitude of 49.633 and longitude of -105.984 it mostly has a humidity of 76%25. A recent census recorded its population of around 3000. The city of Assiniboia is located in such a geographical location that the people here are under the influence of agriculture. Assiniboia previously was also known as Asiniibwaan which means “Stone Sioux”, i.e., the people spoke Siouan language and were known as “Assiniboine”. Lying in the temperature range of -2 to 2 degree Celsius approximately it experiences strong air currents at the speed of 24.2km/h to 29.9km/h. It has many water bodies like “Red River”, “Lake Manitoba” and “Assiniboine River” which is the longest in Assiniboia. These rivers flow through the grassy plains providing great natural beauty. It also has many historic places to visit like the museum of “St James Assiniboia Description” and it also has a very famous church named “Assiniboia-Charleswood Community Church”.
