Lac La Ronge Provincial Park
The Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is the largest provincial park in Saskatchewan. There are about 100 lakes in the park where visitors can enjoy canoeing and boating. There are also several hiking trails.
Lac La Ronge
Lac La Ronge is a magnificent lake where there are more than 1000 islands. Here one can view stunning scenery, cliffs and white rapids that cannot be seen in other regions of Saskatchewan.
Nistowiak Falls
The largest waterfall in Saskatchewan is the Nistowiak Falls. This is situated on Lac La Ronge and is a drop of 10 meters from Rapid River to the Churchill River. In the nearby places, aboriginal pictographs can be found.
Holy Trinity Anglican Church
This is the oldest remaining building in Saskatchewan and was constructed before 1860. As it is situated on an island in Lac La Ronge, one can reach it only by a boat.
Eagle Point Resort
Eagle Point Resort is located on McGibbon Bay and is a 9-hole grass greens course. Here the dress code is fairly casual and on weekends reservations are needed. Credit cards are accepted. The specifications are as follows - Ladies par 35, slope 124 (2454 yards) and men par 35, slope 127 (2944 yards).
